The highest priced hotels in Disney World: what you need to know

A Disney World vacation is a luxuryplain and simple. Even lower priced Disney hotels have fees hundreds of dollars per nightand entry fees increase every year. Even though a Disney World vacation is quite expensive, families visit from far away to experience the Most Magical Place on Earth and set aside money for months, even years, to make that dream vacation a reality.

For travelers looking to splurge and enjoy Disney’s top-tier accommodations, there are more than enough options to spend your money on. When it comes time to choose your resort hotel, Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts offer amenities, comfort, and, in many cases, proximity to the parks.

What makes expensive Disney World hotels worth the money?

• Additional Facilities. Deluxe Resorts are where you’ll find fitness centers, spas, a variety of on-site dining options (some even offer character dining), etc. Some Deluxe Resorts have Disney Vacation Club Villas, Club Level accommodations, and more.
• Close to Park. By design, many of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts are within walking distance of several parks. The Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary – three of the most expensive hotels in the world – are all a short walk or Monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom.
• Bigger and More Comfortable Rooms. If you want your hotel room to be more than just a place to relax between days at the park, you might want to consider upgrading from Value Resorts. Rooms at Deluxe Resorts are often larger, with more in-room amenities. The villa is also equipped with some basic kitchen equipment, such as a microwave, coffee maker, etc.

How to save on accommodations at Disney World

• Shop Around for Disney Promotions. Disney almost always has some kind of promotion or sale going on. While the prices I’m sharing are rack prices, you may be able to get a discount by booking directly through Disney.
• Rent Disney Vacation Club Points. Although joining the Disney Vacation Club costs a lot of money, anyone can rent vacation points from members, usually at a lower rate than the cash cost per night.
• Don’t forget you can visit any of the resorts during the day! Guests are welcome to visit one of the resort’s hotels – you don’t need to be an overnight guest to stroll around the resort grounds and dine at the on-site restaurant. If your budget doesn’t allow for a Deluxe resort, but you still want to visit, take time in the afternoon to have lunch or drinks and enjoy the atmosphere.

Disney’s Grand Florida Resort and Spa

Disney World’s flagship resort, Disney’s Grand Florida Resort and Spais the definition of luxury and extravagance when it comes to accommodation. Located along the Magic Kingdom monorail circle, You have easy access to the park, plus additional service to EPCOT and other Monorail resorts.

The Grand Floridian is home to some of the best dining at Disney World, including Narcoossee, OrangeAnd Victoria and Albertwho has received the AAA Five Diamond Award since 2000.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is my definition of a vacation away from vacation. If you’re looking for real island vibeslook no further.

Polynesia is surrounded by lush tropical foliage and is home to fan-favorite restaurants ‘Ohana. Don’t forget to stop by Pineapple Lanai and grab a Dole Whip! Located along the Magic Kingdom Monorail loopYou are just minutes from the park entrance.

Disney Contemporary Resort

The third resort along Monorail loopDisney’s Contemporary Resort, is actually the closest to the park gates. It’s so close that you can get to the park faster by walking. The Contemporary has been around as long as Walt Disney World, opening on October 1, 1971, along with the Polynesian.

Contemporary is where you’ll find it Chef Mickey And california grill, two of the most popular restaurants on property. The rooms at the Contemporary have been recently renovated with a new design inspired by the Disney Pixar film Outstanding.

Disney Wilderness Lodge

Disney’s Wilderness Inn is a take a speedboat from Magic Kingdom. This is a great Deluxe resort option if you love the outdoors, as Wilderness Lodge gives you all that a comfortable cottage atmosphere in a calm atmosphere.

Personally, I think this is the fact No on the Monorail line helps provide a calmer atmosphere, as it is a bit difficult for Magic Kingdom guests to stop by and visit. That said, if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, Wilderness Lodge is a short boat ride from the park and includes great dining options.

Disney Cruise Ship Resort and Beach Club

Cruise Ship Resort and Beach Club are sister properties located right next door, literally connected by a passageway. They also share facilities, including a pool area known as Stormalong Bay. This is one of the top-rated pools on property, complete with a lazy river, sandy bottom, jacuzzi, slides and more.

Yacht and Beach Club is just steps from EPCOT International Gateway, meaning you’re just a short walk (literally, about five minutes) from the park. And although they are not officially considered a resort along the coast Disney Skyline route, its proximity to the EPCOT station essentially makes it a Skyliner accessible hotel.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn located across the lagoon from the Yacht and Beach Club. This means Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is also a short walk from EPCOT International Gatewayalong with EPCOT horizon station. Its proximity makes it a highly desirable resort choice.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is a resort full of nightlife, home to popular bars such as Abracadabar. Expect to find many guests visiting after sunset!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

The newest Disney World Resort hotel, which opened in December 2019, is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Inspired by the French and Italian Riviera, this resort has beautiful grounds and many delicious dining options Topolino Terrace.

Riviera has its own dedication Disney Skyline station, making it easily accessible from EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando

Did you know there is a Four Seasons resort on Disney World property? Orlando Four Seasons is the epitome of luxury when it comes to on-site accommodation. Expect to find all the things guests expect when staying at a Four Seasons, including pristine resort grounds, spacious rooms, an on-site spa and other amenities, and delicious dining.

He even has his own eating with character experience in Ravello. In terms of proximity to the parks, the Four Seasons offers transportation via “luxury motorcoach” to all four theme parks, although it is closest to the Magic Kingdom.
