Disney Parks to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with new, limited-time Soarin’ offers

Tourist destinations across the United States are gearing up for what is sure to be a busy year in 2026. From National Parks to iconic cities, families will find ways to celebrate. America’s 250th anniversary. Theme parks have already begun announcing their plans for America 250, and today, Walt Disney Company announced a series of exciting plans for the event.

In fact, Disney’s celebration begins this year and continues through summer 2026which will be anchored by debuts new version of Soarin’! Let’s take a look at what was announced today and what we can expect in the coming months.

The Disney Celebrates America broadcast will feature the popular Disney parks fireworks

“Disney Celebrates America” will begin on Veterans Day 2025 (November 11) and continue through the Fourth of July weekend in 2026. The celebration will be marked by special offers at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line for eligible service members in recognition of their service and to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. More details will be revealed this November.

It was also announced that Disney would celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a “Disney Celebrates America” 24-hour broadcast. over the Fourth of July holiday weekend Disney+, ABC, ESPN, and more.

The night will end with special fireworks broadcasts from Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The Fourth of July fireworks are always a special event at the park, so I can only imagine how epic the 2026 fireworks will be!

If you’re in the park around the Fourth of July, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to watch the fireworks. “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will play July 3, 4 and 5 at Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom.

Soarin’ Across America comes to EPCOT and Disney California Adventure

But wait, there’s more! In perhaps the most exciting announcement of the day, a new version of Soarin’ was mentioned Soarin’ Across America will debut at EPCOT and Disney California Adventure in summer 2026! This “limited time itinerary” will highlight the country natural beauty and iconic city views. In total, we’ll see more than a dozen locations are featured in this new travel sequence.
